Yvonne Scott, A.O.C.A.

Yvonne Scott is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art. She has been a professional artist for 25 years, exhibiting in many shows and galleries in Canada . Her paintings hang in private collections in Canada , the United States and Europe .

Yvonne has taught Art and Design in community colleges in Kingston and Sarnia , Ontario and in Winnipeg , Manitoba and has given a number of workshops. She also was a co-owner, operator and exhibitor of a gallery in Sarnia for two years.

One of Yvonne's major themes in her paintings is the garden. This is a natural blending of two life passions, painting and gardening. She has accumulated a great wealth of knowledge and experience in the many places she has lived in Canada and in England where she enjoyed her large English garden in Surrey .

While living in Europe for three years, Yvonne traveled extensively visiting museums, galleries and gardens. She was also studying with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers and became an accredited Healer in 1998.

Now settled back in Canada , Yvonne actively incorporates her diverse knowledge and insights into her art.
