Optic 480適用于各種難加工材質如高硬度合金、鎳合金、鈦合金、不銹鋼、及鋁合金的苛刻加工，如鉸削、鏜孔、攻絲及深孔鉆，某些場合可代替油性切削油。

Optic 480 is applicable to processing with rigorous conditions those materials which are difficult to be processed, such as high hardness alloy, nickel alloy, titanium alloy, stainless steel and aluminum alloy, such as reaming, boring holes, tapping and deep hole drilling, etc.. on some occasions, it can be used to substitute neat cutting oil.
